Chen Fenjian introduced CCCC and its business development. He noted that John Holland Group Pty Ltd (John Holland) has been maintaining a good cooperation with the government of South Australia. Since joining CCCC last year, its transformation (from an engineering contractor, a real estate builder to an investor, a property developer, an operator and a service provider) is underway in line with the CCCC’s strategic upgrading, exploring opportunities for investment and development in such fields as health, education and commercial real estate. CCCC encourages John Holland, expects to take an active part in infrastructure investment and construction in South Australia with John Holland as an investment vehicle, and contributes to the development of South Australia’s economy and proactively undertake social responsibilities. CCCC will give full play to its advantages from group level to provide comprehensive support for John Holland in terms of capital, technology, experience and talents, and hopes that the government of South Australia will, as always, offer support for the projects of John Holland.

Weatherill offered congratulation on CCCC’s successful acquisition of John Holland and spoke highly of John Holland regarding its good reputation and extraordinary talents in South Australia. He warmly welcomed CCCC to enter into South Australian market. South Australia is a sparsely populated area with abundant resources, which needs support from the international markets, and Chinese market, in particular. The government of South Australia encourages overseas investments in health, green industry, agriculture, mining industry, education and etc., and will recommend a series of investments projects.

During his stay in South Australia, Chen Fenjian also visited the hospital project under construction and the completed modernized agricultural project by John Holland.
